Accounting Setup

Are you a new business and want to make sure you start out on the right foot? Our accounting setup is for you. We will set up your QuickBooks Online account complete with bank integration, customized chart of accounts and branded invoicing. After the setup we will have a half hour meeting to go over everything done. At that point you can move into one of our monthly bookkeeping packages or if you’re looking to take on your own bookkeeping, we offer 2 hour training sessions broken up over two weeks for $175.

Accounting Cleanup

This is our specialty! Are your books in need of a clean up? It may sound weird but we love a good puzzle. If you need help untangling your books (maybe your business and personal finances became intertwined) we are here to help you find calm in the chaos. After a discovery call, we would request Accountant access to your QuickBooks account to perform a diagnostic review. After the review we would meet and present you with a course of action as well as an estimate for the work. At Compass Rose Accounting, we believe in full transparency and no surprise billing.

Monthly Bookkeeping & Payroll

With monthly bookkeeping packages from Compass Rose Accounting, you'll always know where your business stands. I offer four monthly bookkeeping packages, so you always know what you're paying and what you're getting, no vague quotes, no bills that creep up without warning.

Every package includes accurate books in QuickBooks Online, a dedicated client portal for sharing documents, and financial reports you can actually understand. Go over your transaction limit in a given month? You're not bumped to a new tier, I just add a $40 charge per extra block of 25 transactions.

Bookkeeping Monthly Plans

Quarterly plans are available for companies with under 75 transactions per month. Reach out for your customized Quote. These plans are bookkeeping only.

Premium with Advisory

$1,250 / month

For growing businesses, or any client requiring a third-party app integration.

  • Up to 5 accounts (bank, savings, credit card, or loan)

  • Up to 350 transactions/month

  • 1 app connection

  • One 30-minute meeting/month

  • 24-hour response time

  • Monthly financial statements

Any client requiring a third-party app integration is billed at Level 3 minimum, regardless of transaction volume.

For established businesses wanting a strategic layer on top of bookkeeping.

  • Up to 6 accounts (bank, savings, credit card, or loan)

  • Up to 500 transactions/month

  • Up to 2 app connections

  • One 1-hour meeting/month

  • Priority response time (same-day)

  • Monthly financial statements

  • Advisory (delivered within the monthly meeting), plus a detailed analysis of financials with each monthly delivery

Overage Policy

Transactions beyond a package's monthly cap are billed at $40 per additional block of 25 transactions, applied automatically to that month's invoice. No tier change is required.

General Notes

  • Accounts include bank, savings, credit card, and loan accounts.

  • Scope: all packages are bookkeeping only. Payroll processing and 1099 filing are not included and are priced as separate services.

1099 Processing Add-On — $150 base + $15/form

Full prep and e-filing of Form 1099-NEC/1099-MISC for client's contractors and vendors. Available to any package level; not included in Essential, Standard, Advanced, or Premium.

  • Collect and review W-9s from vendors flagged as 1099-eligible

  • Confirm payment totals against the year's books

  • Prepare and e-file 1099-NEC/1099-MISC with the IRS

  • Distribute copies to recipients

  • $150 base fee covers setup, review, and filing; $15 per additional form beyond the first 5
